StateWise — Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

StateWise (published by Old Dog Labs) does not collect, store, or share any personal information from its users.

What we don't do

On-device storage

StateWise saves which states you've marked "visited" using your device's local storage, so your list is there the next time you open the app. This never leaves your device — we don't have access to it and it isn't sent anywhere.

Network requests

StateWise makes anonymous, unauthenticated requests to a small set of public data providers to display state information:

These requests contain only the state or city name being looked up, which is content built into the app — never anything tied to you personally. We don't attach identifiers, and we don't receive or retain the responses beyond displaying them in the app.

Children's privacy

StateWise does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
